Join SWRDSC and the Blue Abyss team as they present a briefing on the current status of the Blue Abyss project, share intended Defence and Security use cases and the vision for a world-class facility. This event will provide a unique opportunity to learn more about, and contribute to, the design of the facility to best meet the needs of SWRDSC members and create a fantastic asset for the region.

Perfectly aligned with SWRDSC objectives to foster Innovation and collaboration across industry, academia and government. Blue Abyss is among the most ground-breaking projects of its time. As the world’s premier extreme environment research, training and test centre. It will house the world’s largest and deepest indoor pool, a high-G centrifuge, hyper and hypo baric chambers, human life-sciences centre, and education and conference facilities. It will act as a global hub to connect, enable and accelerate collaboration in these areas, deliver hi-fidelity environments which enable development, evaluation, and simulation for humans, robotics, and submersibles.

A real opportunity for cluster members to innovate and collaborate with the Blue Abyss team through a workshop based session where members will be able to explore and influence the design and future capabilities of this facility.
