Who is Leyton Lark?
Having set up his own consultancy Lark Consulting Limited in 2007, Leyton Lark has been working with Team Defence Information (TD-Info) since 2008. Prior to this Leyton spent five years at Capgemini working with clients in both the public and private sector on strategic sourcing, innovation, and new product development. Leyton started his career as a Rolls-Royce undergraduate apprentice. He spent 25 years with the company firstly as a design and development engineer then as a procurement and supply chain manager and eventually a general manager and strategic relationship manager.
Leyton coordinates the TD-Info activities on through life support of Defence equipment. This includes facilitating working groups, communities of practice and projects to improve Defence policy and practice to achieve more effective, efficient, and affordable Defence support through collaboration between the Defence Industry and the UK MOD
Leyton is also the TD-Info representative on the Southwest Regional Defence & Security Cluster Steering Group.
TD-Info facilitates collaboration within the extended ecosystem that includes MOD, Industry primes, service providers and academics. This we call “Team Defence”. Leyton believes that by bringing all the brains available in Team Defence to bear on the challenges, and opportunities inherent in delivering Defence Support great performance gains can be made.
